2010 Notes and Status
6/11/2010 16 of 22 pages has been inked. Book should be completely inked by next week and ready for coloring and lettering.
2/10/2010 Work on Amazonia #2 will start back in early March. The creator of the series will start penciling the issue as Xigency Studios, Inc. tries to find an artist to take over the penciling and inking of the series.
2009 Notes and Status
8/17/09 Work on Amazonia will begin soon!!! Xigency Studios are in negotiation with Irie-Manga Studios to do the artwork for this issue and possible more. Will keep you posted.
6/4/2009 Work on Amazonia issue 2 is scheduled for a restart shortly after Wizard World/Chicago Comiccon. Issue #1 is still in stock and more promos will be released in the next couple of days.
1/21/2009 Covers for issue #2 and #3 has been completed. Covers will be posted under previews soon. Work has begun on drawing issue #2. Work on issue #3 will been shortly after copywrite is confirmed.
2008 Notes and Status
11/25/2008 Issue #1 was unvailed at Daisho Con 2008. Those who attended got first chance to read the issue before it is release from the printer. From the reaction of the reader, many enjoyed the book and is looking forward to purchase their own copy of the issue. Artwork for issue #2 is scheduled to start on November 28, 2008
11/18/2008 Issue #1 has been sent to the printer and an estimated arrival date of December 26, 2008. Issue is being sold now at our online store. A display copy of this issue will be at Daisho Con 2008 for those who attend.
10/9/2008 Issue #1 is completed. Issue is now in its final inking and coloring stages before we send issue to the printers. Hopefully if everything goes as planned, issue will be sent on the week of the 17th of October for delivery by November 17th. We are still expecting to unveil issue publicly at Daisho Con 2008 and will start pre orders in early November.
9/12/2008 Issue #1 is scheduled to be sent to the printers by September 28, 2008 due to some financial matters and due to preparations to unveil the issue to the public by November at Daisho Con 2008. Inking and editing are being worked on now to ensure that we stay on schedule.
7/29/2008 Due to unforseen circumstance, Issue #1 is delayed a few more weeks. Issue #1 of Amazonia is almost completed. Artwork on Page 18 is being done and the issue is expected to be completed by early August and sent to printers by Mid August. Expect this issue to be on sell by late August.
7/10/2008 A lot has happened since the last update. Family, Relationships and Wizard World Chicago 2008 took a good toll on the progress with Amazonia #1. We are still on target to get the issue to the printers this month. Right now, 7 more pages is need to be drawn, inked and colored. Also, I am trying to set up commissioned covers for future issues of the comic. This is due to some of the great contact I made at Wizard World Chicago 2008 this year. Also, We will be starting pre-orders for Issue 1 once we have the book sent to the printers.
5/21/2008 Anime Central is over!! Our online store opens!! Amazonia has a brand new cover for issue #1!! Amazonia will be offered in printed format as well!! Xigency Studios will like to thank those who showed interest in this title at Anime Central. We were able to ink several pages of issue 1 and drew the ever so anticipated Issue 1 cover. Note, there will be two covers for this issue. Second cover is being worked on now. Also, Xigency Studios will be offering the comic series in printed form as well as online download thanks to some info picked up an Anime Central. The target date for Amazonia 1 is now July 2008. Stay tuned for more updates.
5/14/2008 Anime Central is two days away. Xigency Studios will preview a 12 page sample of Amazonia #1. In addition to this, Xigency Studios will be working on this issue and and issue #2 live at the convention. Futhermore, we will offer a pre-order waiting list for this series. Come on out and see first-hand the work of Xigency Studios.
5/5/2008 As Anime Central approaches, Xigency Studios will have to push back the launch of Amazonia #1. Due to some unforseen life events, work on issue 1 was slowed. As of right now, 15 of 23 pages are complete drawn. However with work on Attack Of The Giantesses and preparing for Anime Central, drawing and page layout has slowed to a crawl. Xigency Studios will have a teaser preview of the issue at the show plus we will be working on the issue on site. See us work live and in person.
3/21/2008 12 of 23 pages has been formatted and is ready for reproduction. Issue 1 will be made available only through this website. It will be available for purchase as downloadable PDF for normal issue or you can buy the collector's CD which will have all variants and sketchbooks. Also, Xigency Studios apologizes for not updating this site versus the Microsoft Spaces Site with updates. It was an oversite due to an assumption that was made based on the number of hits to the site.
1/31/2008 Amazonia issue one is halfway completed. A 6 page preview will be uploaded once a new cover has been approved. A sketchbook is also in the works for this series. It will contain the preliminary drawing of characters and concept art.
2007 Notes and Status
12/19/2007 As of right now, 6 issues of this comic title has been completely written and issue 7 is in progress now. Issues # 1 and 2 has been copyrighted to the author. Issues #3 and 4 will be submitted early in 2008. However, Issue #1 has not be completely drawn as of yet and artwork for the other issues have not been started. Only about 5 pages of issue #1 has been drawn. It is not certain that these pages will be use or redrawn for the launch of the title. This will be the first to be published by Xigency Studios. Right now, plans are in the works to have a viewing of art at the 2008 Anime Central in Rosemont, IL.
