The Last Line of Defense (LLD) is the first comic book title design but never storyboarded by Xigency Studios. This was due to number of characters involved in this comic series.
The LLD is told in 3 different eras of the team:
Angels Saga: This era is the beginning and origins of the original team which was formed by the government.
Guardians Saga: This era tells what happened after the original team was disbanded and two new ones where formed. One of them kept the original name while the other team became known Inordinate Coerce.
Revelations Saga: This era tells about the ultimate destiny of many of the members and the conspiracies that they were unwilling pawns since the team was formed.
