More Updates and Convention Prep: Xigency Studios, Inc. has been busy working to bring you our best in our comics and comic related merchandise. We release one of our Wizard World Chicago 2010 exclusives. The Greg Horn Cover of AWF #3 has been posted on the AWF status page as well as the series creator's Facebook page. It will be one of the must haves for this con. AWF #3 is almost completed. The series artist, Kimberly Moseberry, has finished the pencils and is currently working on the inks and color. It is still on schedule for its release for Wizard World 2010. Amazonia #2 is completed and is in its final edits. Joe D. McFee will be sending this issue to the printers on next week barring any other major edits. The final cover for this issue which was done by Terry Huddleston has been posted on this site and the creator's Facebook page. Upcoming posters from Ken Ray featuring some of the AWF characters has been approved and we are waiting for the final colored version of the poster. Adrian Adams is currently working on an exclusive Elisa Masters (Amazonia) poster. He is still in the penciling stages and is still on schedule for a Wizard World release. Kimberly Moseberry have completed yet another Elisa Master's poster which has been approved. She is working on the inks and color on this poster. Lastly, Joe D. McFee will be throwing his hat into the mix of posters with a new Amazonia and Juggzanaut poster.
June 11, 2010 Updates and Convention Prep: Xigency Studios, Inc. has been busy working to bring you our best in our comics and comic related merchandise. We also apologize for the lateness of this update on some of your favorite comics. Without further ado, here is the skinny on our main titles and upcoming posters: AWF #3 has been written, submitted to the copyright office and now in the hands of the series artist, Kimberly Moseberry. In addition to this, the preliminary sketch of the alternate cover of this issue from Greg Horn has been approved and he will start work on the final version in the next few weeks. Everything is in order to keep schedule for an August release which will be just in time for Wizard World Chicago. Amazonia #2 is almost completed. Joe D. McFee has inked 16 of 22 pages and expects to have the inking done for the entire book by next week. Futhermore, the final cover for this issue which was done by Terry Huddleston has been approved. It will also be made into a 18" x 24" poster for purchase at a later date. Also, inked pages are available for preview on Joe's Deviant Art site. Upcoming posters from Ken Ray, Adrian Adams and Kimberly Moseberry have yet to be approved.These artist has done rendition of the XSU characters from Amazonia and AWF. Also, Joe D. McFee will be throwing his hat into the mix of posters with a new Amazonia poster. Also, Xigency Studios Inc. is gearing up for the Wizard World Chicago in August. Not only will we feature XSU related products, we will have spotlight on all of the artists of Xigency Studios Inc. as well as a couple of guests like Trevor Mueller. Not only will you be able to purchase XSU related products, you will be able to buy exclusive artwork directly from the artist. In addition to this, Xigency Studios Inc. may have their portfolio review or XSU try-out at this con. Stay tune for more info on portfolio review/try out. May 21,2010 More Posters and Upcoming issues Update: Xigency Studios, Inc. is happy to announce the addition of new posters and merchandise coming soon for our comic book series. Among them, we have two new Amazonia posters done by Terry Huddleston that are scheduled for release to the online store in June. We are in the midst of negotiating projects for more posters featuring Ken Ray, Adrian Adams and Kimberly Moseberry. More info on these posters is coming soon. Xigency Studios, Inc. made a great effort to get the long awaited Amazonia #2 completed. Currently, 20 of 22 pages have been penciled by its creator, Joe D. McFee. Terry Huddleston has also been commissioned with the covers for the next 3 covers of the Amazonia series starting at issue #2. AWF #3 is still on schedule for its August release for Wizard World Chicago. Production of this issue will start in a week; it will feature the art work of Kimberly Moseberry. This issue will have a special Wizard World alternate cover done by Greg Horn who is one of the greatest comic artists in the industry today. Also, work on XSU trading card series 2 may start as soon as September. More detail on this trading card set is coming soon. April 27, 2010 New products added to the online store!! Xigency Studios, Inc. has added new items to the online store. We have added posters and trading cards which premiered at C2E2. More products coming soon!! April 23, 2010 Back from C2E2 and Never Looked Better!! With that said, it goes without saying that AWF is a smash hit. Xigency Studios, Inc. was able to bring their comic series to the forefront at this convention. It was also the debut of Kimberly Moseberry as a comic artist as well starting in Issue #2. Please note: We are running the C2E2 Convention special at our online store until April 30th. Please take advantage of the free spoiler print before it is released to the masses. Amazonia #2 was also being penciled live at C2E2 by its creator, Joe D. McFee. So far, all pages have been sketched and 4 of 22 pages have been completely penciled. Amazonia #2 is on pace for a possible June or July 2010 release. AWF #3 - 5 is also being written at this time. Xigency Studios, Inc. has been set an expected release date of Issue #3 in June 2010. All other issues of AWF will be shortly after that date. There are some other noteworthy items on tap. First of all, Xigency Studios, Inc. is proud to announce that Terry Huddleston will be doing 3 custom art posters for the Amazonia series. In addition to this, Adrian Adams is also working on Amazonia Posters as well. Be looking for both artist’s work her e soon. Also, you can now buy your favorite Xigency Studios comics at Comixpress. Yes, Amazonia and AWF are now available through both our online store and our printer, Comixpress at http://comixpress.com. April 10, 2010 C2E2 is less than 6 days away!! Xigency Studios, Inc. is excited that C2E2 is almost here. We are in the final stages of prep for the C2E2 Convention. Our booth will be locate at #846!! We are hosting some of the most well known local artists at our booth. Step by to get signed products or commissions done by artists like Kimberly Moseberry, Trevor Mueller, Adrian Adams, Terry Huddleston, Joe Currie and Joe McFee. In prep for the con, We added AWF#2 to our online store and the same combo offer that we are offering at C2E2. Click here to see more info. Also, Xigency Studios's first trading card set will be released at C2E2. XSU series 1 trading card feature the characters from booth Amazonia and AWF. Uncut sheet will only be made available for purchase. Also, 17 of 22 pages of Amazonia #2 have been laid and sketched out. Pencil work will be done live at the con. If you want to see the creator of Amazonia in action. Stop by the booth at C2E2. AWF #3 and #4 are also in the works.Tentative schedule for release on these issues will be June or July 2010. March 31, 2010 More Exclusives and Signing Schedule for C2E2: Xigency Studios, Inc is happy to announce more exclusive being offered at C2E2 as well as the Artist/Comic signing schedule. In addition to the exclusive spolier print from AWF, Trevor Mueller will be offering a Reading with Pictures print featuring Albert the Alien, the main character from his story in the Reading with Pictures anthology. It is an exclusive art print produced by him and not the illustrator of the story. March 25, 2010 AWF #2, XSU Series 1 Trading Cards, C2E2 Exclusive, and other convention news! AWF #2 is still on schedule to be released at the beginning of April in time for C2E2. Recieved word yesterday from printers that issue is being pressed. Also in time for C2E2, Xigency Studios, Inc. will be releasing the XSU Series 1 trading card set. This 24 card set features characters featured in Amazonia and AWF comic book series. Your first opportunity to purchase the trading card set will be at C2E2 on April 16-18, 2010. In addition to this, Xigency Studios, Inc. will be offering an exclusive spolier print from AWF at C2E2. It is so exclusive and that much of a big spolier, that we can not post it on the web site. You can get this spoiler print when you purchase AWF #1 and AWF #2 at C2E2 or from our online store. AWF #2 (Both Covers)ETA from printers is 3/31/2010... Released Date for sale 4/14/2010 (Two days before C2E2 in Chicago where both the creator and artist(Joe D. McFee and Kimberly Moseberry, respectively) will be appearing at the Xigency Studios,Inc. booth for comic book signings.
Work Amazonia #2 and AWF #3 has started as of today. AWF #3, 4, and 5 are being storyboarded. ETA on Penciling and Inking of AWF #3 is end of March 2010. However,Amazonia #2 will start tomorrow. No ETA on when Amazonia #2 will be completed. February 22, 2010 AWF, Amazonia, and Lactation Lass: Xigency Studios, Inc. is happy to announce that everything is still on schedule for the release of the AWF comic series. Issue #1 proof has been confirmed and approved. Issue is still on schedule to be released in March. Issue #2 is almost done. All pages has been penciled, inked, and colored. The last 11 pages are being lettered and estimated to be ready for sending to the printers by Feb. 27th. Work on issue #3 has begun. Its creator, Joe D. McFee has started writing this issue as well as 5 more issue of this series. More to come on the status of AWF #3. Xigency Studios, Inc. will start working on Amazonia #2 in March. An artist search may begin shortly for this comic book series to take over the penciling and inking duties from its creator, Joe D. McFee. February 10, 2010 Big start for AWF; Amazonia #2 penciling will begin; More news on comic prints and book from Xigency Studio: First of all, Xigency Studios, Inc. want to wish everyone a Happy Black History Month! Take time to this and every month to learn about African Americans who have made significant accomplishments in the world. Xigency Studios, Inc. is happy to announce that everything is still on schedule for the release of the AWF comic series. Issue #1 is current at the printers and we are waiting on the proof. Issue #2 is almost done. Kimberly Moseberry has penciled last 11 pages of the issue and is scheduled to start inking them this weekend. Joe D. McFee has colored the first 11 pages of issue # 2 and will start lettering them this week. Also, this issue will have Two Covers (an artist drawn cover and creator drawn cover). January 29, 2010 Overdue Update From The Start of 2010: First of all, Xigency Studios, Inc. want to apologize for the long time between website updates. We have been very busy with setting up event dates and producing comics start from Jan. 1, 2010 that we place this update on the back burner for a bit. However, here is the long awaited low down on what has been happening here at Xigency Studios: 1. AWF #1 is completed and is in the final revision process to be released to the printer. Below is the final version of the cover for issue #1. This issue should be ready for sale in late March/Early April. 2. AWF #2 is almost done. About 16 pages has been penciled by the new artist for the series, Kimberly Mossberry. Of these 11 pages are inked and are being colored and letter by the creator, Joe D. McFee. Also, there will be an alternate cover done by Kimberly Mossbery. More info on this issue will be made available soon. 3. By popular demand, work on Amazonia #2 will start back in March. The artwork for this issue is still in the air as of right now due to finding an artist to take over the penciling and inking of the series. 4. Xigency Studios, Inc. is a confirmed exhibitor at C2E2 this year. Please check the Upcoming Events section for more info. 5. LLD (Last Line of Defense) comic book series has been put on hold for now due to time constraints in getting complete issue written. 6. Work on Issue #3 of AWF will begin shortly after C2E2. A written script for this issue may be completed before then. Again, Xigency Studios apologize for not keeping our fans updated over this last month. Please bare with us on slow updates due to the fact that we are trying to bring the highest quality of Independent Comic Books on the market.
